A Look on the World Cup Soccer Timeline

If you are a soccer fan you are eager to know the soccer timeline. It is a record of events that happens in the world of soccer. Every year since soccer begun there are important events that take place. Here are timelines you surely want to know:

1930's - The beginning of World Cup, the event takes place in Uruguay. Latin American countries have formed teams. Uruguay, Argentina and Chile are one of the first professional soccer team. Champion teams within the year are Uruguay (1930), Italy (1934) and France (1938).

1940's - Even though the World Cup was interrupted by the World War, American countries still managed to play soccer in the local cups and transferred players to continue the event in the region.

1950's - The World Cup is back in action. Latin America became popular and superstars like Pele and Garrincha are born. In 1958, Brazil has won the championship and this made them the unstoppable team.

1960's - The World Cup was first shown in television. Two new Cups were established, The Libertadores Cup and the Intercontinental Cup. Real Madrid became the first champions in the event.

1970's - Brazil has gain most titles and championships.

1980's - The new superstar is born, Diego Armando Maradona. In 1982 Italy won the finals and the cup became a hit.

1990's - Brazil still dominates the soccer world and Mexico joined the South American Cup.

2000's - The world Cup became more aggressive and soccer gained a lot of fans all over the world.

Outstanding players like Beckham, Zidane, Gaucho and Riquelme was discovered.
Soccer indeed is extraordinary. It is getting more exciting and intriguing. Soccer timeline wouldn't miss to keep on tracking records for die-hard soccer fans.
