The locals go crazy here in Tokyo just before the Japan vs. Paraguay World Cup match begins. Filmed on my phone at Hachiko Crossing the famed street corner from the film "Lost in Translation." Honestly... I rarely see the locals this excited. Very cool. I hope they win. ¨***Update*** Japan should walk away from the field feeling like champs. They've done better than any previous Japanese world cup team. They deserved the win, but lost on penalty kicks. Tense to the end it was a fantastic showing for Nippon. Congrats to the players for a solid showing. I predict a solid future for the team. Only 10 years ago Asian football teams were a joke. Not anymore! Omedetou!
